Banff's sister in new Zealand

We are now in Queenstown which is a city in the south island. On our way here, we passed by what everyone considered stunning scenery but unfortunately we weren't as wowed bc we have banff in our backward. Queenstown is similar to the city of banff but newer and well groomed with a lot of good restaurants.  There is also a waterfront area with the beautiful mountain landscape which sets it apart from banff. That being said, if your from Alberta its not as exciting but if you've never seen banff, than you'd be blown away. There are an endless number of outdoor activities to do here. Luckily the temperature is much milder here with highs of 24ish instead of 35ish in Queensland.

This area is the sky dive, bungee jumping and extreme sports capital of the world! It's too bad Adam won't let me do any of them! lol. Actually if I ever went, I'd definitely want company but probably have to hide it from my family who who kill me if I went. Tiger woods was here not to long ago to bungee jump as well.

We've been taking advantage of the lamb here since all of the lamb i've ever bought in Canada comes from new Zealand. We had the yummiest tandoori masala rack of lamp at "India once upon a time" restaurant and possibly the best Indian food we've ever had including in india! We've been there twice in 3 days.

Yesterday we went to onsen hot pools which are private hot pools with an amazing view in the mountains! It was very nice and relaxing!

Off to Auckland today to the start exploring the north island!
